After devastating floods in 2023, the team have been hard at work restoring the iconic, Anglers Tavern.
This riverside icon has been a historical part of the community since 1870! Set to launch Summer 2024 we will be back bigger and better than before boasting an 860 capacity: riverside beer garden, TWO kids’ entertainment rooms, four bars, pontoon, and much more!
The work is not done yet though!
We are now seeking a Venue Manager to assist in the final stages of launching our brand-new venue. This is a great opportunity to build your own team from FOH, BOH, and management.
You will oversee all aspects of the venue operations, ensuring that the venue is functioning effectively and efficiently. This venue requires a manager with a passion and drive to deliver exceptional experiences that can lead from the front.

Essential requirements:
-
- 2-3+ years of Venue Management experience in a Entertainment lead, high volume F&B venue or similar
- Work with & communicate effectively with all departments within Operations & Central support.
- Strong Financial Acumen: ability to deep dive into financials & analyse where there is an opportunity to grow your business.
- Ability to generate revenue-building ideas throughout all aspects of the business.
- Presence on the floor during peak service periods, including late nights and weekends.
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in the hospitality sector.
- Be able to implement and execute promotions throughout the business successfully.
- A manager with a drive to train, develop and progress their team.
- Proven track record in a similar hospitality management role.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
