Do you like... Wine? People? Bottleshops, bars, cafes and restaurants? Are you confident yet humble, persistent yet patient, autonomous yet a team player, organised yet able to accommodate "drop everything" moments, and confident behind the wheel?
We represent a delightful portfolio of boutique, family owned wine producers from Australia, NZ and further afield. Developing new business and servicing existing accounts is equally crucial to success in this role.
You:
- Are an amazing communicator, an even better listener, a relationship builder;
- Thrive on working autonomously, whilst being accountable for your actions;
- Cheerfully flit from venue to venue, while using phone, email and other creative communication channels to proactively touch base with dozens of leads each day to conduct business and arrange face to face meetings;
- Are persistent, yet not intrusive
- Read people and their situations, and tailor your approach accordingly;
- Are highly organised and technology literate;
- Have a reliable car, unrestricted Drivers’ License, RSA and Australian Citizenship/ Permanent Residency.
Previous experience is desirable. We recognise that the right combination of emotional intelligence, get up and go and passion for wine and people can't be taught, so if you can demonstrate this, along with a good understanding of B2B sales and the on and off premise market, we'd love to chat!
