Tasting Room Extraordinaire (Wine Jobs: Wine Retail & Sommelier)

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, energetic customer service focused tasting room person  to join our Melbourne team here at Hollick Estates.

This is your opportunity to join our front of house hospitality team in our Melbourne Tasting Room.

Key duties of this role include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Maximise sales opportunities by upselling wine
  • Deliver excellence in customer service
  • Ensure accuracy whilst ordering and delivering beverage orders
  • Able to maintain attentive, friendly service while busy and under pressure
  • Professional work ethic
  • Effective communication skills & the ability to build rapport with our customers
  • You will be flexible to work a variety of shifts including weekend days, nights and public holidays.
  • Initial hours will be Monday - Friday 11am - 4pm.  

As a successful candidate you will have:

  • A friendly, customer focused attitude.
  • Initiative to ensure that interactions with our guests are positive and efficient
  • Your Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
  • Previous customer service or wine orientated experience
  • Extensive wine knowledge
  • A high standard personal presentation
  • The ability and flexibility to work various rostered shifts.
