Launching eight years ago in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD, Supernormal is a multi-award-winning venue and the brainchild of critically acclaimed Australian restaurateur, Andrew McConnell. Supernormal’s menu reflects McConnell’s five-year stretch heading up kitchens in Hong Kong and Shanghai, and deftly combines elements of Japanese, Korean and Chinese cuisine with the best in seasonal local produce.

Supernormal resides in the Trader House Group of businesses including Gimlet, Cumulus Inc., Cutler & Co., Marion, Builders Arms Hotel, Morning Market, Meatsmith and Handmade Events.

Your role would include but never limited to:

  • Maintaining our strong beverage culture – we love all things wine, sake and whisky!
  • Creating and facilitating market-leading beverage training
  • Liaising with interesting producers and suppliers
  • Being engaged in our ever changing and award-winning wine list
  • Working off-site events such as the Australian Open
  • Working amongst industry leaders like Leanne Altmann and Daniel Barca.
