Basile Imports is a dynamic food and wine importing company based in Bayswater and is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Officer to join our team.
Position is permanent full time, 5 days a week Monday-Friday, 9am – 5pm.
Reporting to team leader, the role will be regulatory in nature and duties will include but are not limited to:
- Assisting with the administration of HACCP and ISO 9001 Management System & SQF2000
- Preparation and maintenance of quality documentation and records
- Approved supplier maintenance
- Maintenance of product specifications
- Fielding and investigating consumer complaints
- Handling FSANZ food labelling requirements
- Conducting and participating in internal and external audits
The successful applicant must have:
- Industry experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Qualifications in food technology
- ISO/HACCP/SQF experience
A salary suitable to the position will be negotiated subject to experience and qualifications.
