The role is with a successful Import/Export SME in the wine industry. This is a great opportunity to join the team in our Melbourne based office/warehouse. You will be responsible for customer service and managing the warehouse, while supporting the sales team. The head office is located in Wellington with warehouses in Auckland and across Australia. The ideal candidate will be self motivated, trustworthy and comfortable working alone as you will be managing the warehouse in conjunction with the Sales Rep, who is on the road 50-80% of the time. 

Duties include:

• Supporting the sales team (quotes, responding to customer enquiries, distributing marketing information, sending samples, technical information)
• Communicating with suppliers and logistics providers to ensure that orders are placed correctly, shipped, administered and delivered on time
• Sales administration, order processing, dispatching, warehousing, stock control and invoicing of products
• General office duties and housekeeping
• Operating forklift

About you:

• Ideally have previous experience in a warehouse, logistics and customer service environment
• Forklift licence or open to training and obtaining a license
• Full clean drivers licence
• A self-starter who can run with things on their own
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Able to multi-task
• Excellent computer skills on Word and Excel
