Bibendum Wine Co. is one of the country’s most respected wine & spirit importers/distributors, working with over one hundred of the world’s greatest wine producers as well as a swag of benchmark craft distilleries. Bibendum is also a content-rich business, offering clients detailed content on their producers and products. An exciting opportunity has now arisen to join our small communications team based in Abbotsford. Working closely with the Sales Manager and Communications Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of print and digital content and marketing platforms to support Bibendum’s producers, sales team and clients.

With a strong focus on proofreading, website management and external communications, the successful candidate will need to have an excellent proofreading ability, great attention to detail and strong organisational and time management skills. This is a dynamic, multifaceted role within Australia’s flourishing wine industry, with the opportunity for the right candidate to flourish.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

•    Proofreading/sub-editing all written and graphic publications.
•    Reviewing communication content by editing for accuracy, typographical errors, spelling, grammar, punctuation, style, nomenclature, formatting and fact-checking.
•   Creating and managing systems to support our team in delivering the Content and Communication Marketing strategy.
•    Uploading and producing content for digital and print publication.
•    Managing all facets of the weekly email campaigns. 
•    Liaising with domestic wine producers on content matters.
•    Bottle photography and editing.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

•    High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
•    Experience working with website management.
•    Experience in working with third-party digital marketing services (e.g. Mail Chimp).
•    This role will be the pivot between several teams, so the ability to work in a team is key.
•    Attention to detail, Attention to detail, Attention to detail.
