About the Role

Are you a sales hunter, someone that looks for opportunities in a tough market then off after the next new customer? If so, we want to hear from you. This role has an On-Premise focus role with competitive remuneration package based on skills and experience. This role is a perfect opportunity to further your sales career. We are looking for the right person to grow a solid base to meet our growing footprint within our on-premise channel. With our broad range of prestigious wines and a dedication to producing the finest quality, Scotchmans Hill is truly one of Australia’s leading wine producers. The territory will be primarily Melbourne Metro area focused. You will establish new business within an area of Metro Melbourne & further if you see potential. You will not be bound by geographical boundaries; you will go where the opportunities are. 

  • Some of your key responsibilities: Identify & bring on new customers, keep them if you wish or hand them over – up to you.
  • Ability to develop monthly and yearly strategic new business targets & goals.
  • Ability to monitor and achieve agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) Scotchmans Hill are seeking a well-presented and confident professional who has a proven track record in sales within the wine, liquor, or FMCG industries. Hospitality professionals encouraged to apply.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, strong time management and organizational skills will see you capable of handling the competing priorities and tight deadlines of this highly varied role.
  • You will be comfortable working autonomously, with the ability to think on your feet and solve issues as they arise. Driven and ambitious, you will be eager to meet and exceed your new business targets, with the ultimate goal of establishing and growing a new sales territory.
