Pt. Leo Estate consists of two award-winning restaurants, an award-winning cellar door and wine terrace, and a world class sculpture park.
Behind the scenes of this unique establishment is a highly skilled sales, marketing and events team dedicated to the continued growth of this business.
We are seeking a strong, sales focused individual to lead the sales, marketing and events team in growing our exposure.
About The Role

The successful candidate will:
- Develop an effective Sales Program through your direct reports that will increase awareness and positive perception of the organisation
- Assist the General Manager and Financial Controller in preparation of the marketing, advertising and sales program in the annual budget;
- Oversee and coordinate the social media program across all lines of business and ensuring that all brand and language standards are adhered to
- Develop international awareness and reputation of the restaurants, the sculpture park and the wine label
- Support sales by hosting site inspections and joining road shows and events whenever possible
- Manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines
- Work with internal teams on behalf of clients to ensure the highest level of customer service
- Work collaboratively with the heads of department and foster a culture of continuous process improvement
Technical Skills and Expertise
- Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the sales/marketing/hospitality profession
- Minimum five years of sales and marketing in high-end hospitality, arts and tourism sector
- Excellent command of the English language both written and verbal
- Strong media, presentation and computer skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, property management systems and design programs.
The position calls for a high degree of diligence in monitoring, managing and controlling the voice of the business, as well as driving business growth. While this is a “hands on” position, an ability to delegate, manage and impart knowledge to others will be equally important. A broad range of leadership competencies will also be required
The ideal candidate will have had previous experience in both sales and marketing within the hospitality industry, a passion for wine, a love of the arts and an unrivalled energy.
