The Botanical and Winestyle Online are currently recruiting for a Beverage Manager.
The applicant will report directly to the Venue Manager of both the Botanical and Winestyle Online as well as the state Beverage Manager of the Colonial Leisure Group, will work alongside the management team of five as well as a function and events team of two at the Botanical.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the back end management of all wine stock, ordering, deliveries and stocktake for both the Botanical and Winestyle Online. Assist in the development and management of the Botanical wine list. Assist in managing Winestyle online marketing campaigns and events. The successful applicant will be required to work alongside the Botanical FOH and Management team to deliver educated and experienced food and wine service.
With a shared focus on back end management the applicant must have;
- At least 2 years front of house experience, preferably wine service based
- An understanding of wine, WSET 2 a minimum, level 3 preferred
- The ability to work with a large team
- Good computer skills, Microsoft excel, word, outlook
- Experience with QDOS and H&L preferred
- A strong background in invoicing, logistics and stock control
- Common sense and initiative
- The ability to thrive under pressure and a "can do" attitude
