Riserva Wine Bar has had to say goodbye to one of its best Bar managers/mixologist to due to opportunities overseas. So we are now looking for another talented and driven member to join our team.

It is a European focused restaurant with a cocktail bar. We have a very strong clientele with enormous amount of regulars so this job role will not suit the quiet type.
It will not also suit the type that will just talk and not get their work done either. We encourage interaction at all times but don’t forget there are always things to do.
We are looking for a full time Bar tender with skills in cocktails and knowledge in spirits. Knowledge in wine is a bonus but not expected.
Our bar tender will also take orders for guests seating at the bar and treat it like table service. Give them menus, tell the specials, take their order etc.
If the bar is quiet, we expect help on the floor if needed or running food out the the tables.
A change over period will occur between our old bar manager and new bar manager so this person can be brought up to speed with how everything done, how the ordering is done and to learn the expectations of this role to suit Riserva.
What we are looking for:
Old school work ethic - will not tolerate arrogance, don’t care where you have worked before. At Riserva we share our experience and knowledge with each other and help everyone.
- Someone who will love this job role and willing to learn more. Passion for cocktails and talking with customers about their tastes and requests.
- Someone who believes that hospitality can be a career not just an inbetween.

- Someone with experience to curate a cocktail list, manage all the ordering for the bar stock and beer list and garnish for all cocktails.
- Friendly and warm person with an outgoing personality
- must be available weekends and nights
- Flexible on the floor as well as behind the bar when we have less staff on the quiet nights.
What we ARE NOT looking for:
- Rude arrogant people
- want to get paid but dont want to work for it.
- Someone who isnt willing to help out an extra shift if someone is sick or cant work
- little or no experience in running a bar section or no knowlege in cocktails or spirits
- casual employment
- lazy work ethic, especially when its quiet. Dont know what to do? Clean!!
