Mount Lofty Estate boosts two luxury accommodation establishments; Mount Lofty House and newly opened Sequoia Lodge. We are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Head Sommelier to work with our Head Sommelier offering exemplary guest experiences within the estate.

Sequoia Lodge focuses on money can't buy behind the scenes experiences in our beautiful region. These centre around our brand pillars of food and wine, nature, wellness and history. Guests will come from all over the world, and initially from around the country seeking experiences that simply aren't available anywhere else in the world.
Only 15 minutes from Adelaide CBD the restaurant is perfectly situated as the destination for occasion dining in Adelaide. The restaurant has unobstructed views across Piccadilly Valley and one of the best locations in the state. We are focused on providing an amazing dining experience for each and every one of our guests.
Hardy's Verandah Restaurant has one of the most exciting cellars in the state situated in a 170-year-old sandstone cellar. With over 1000 labels, rated 3 Glasses and Best Wine list in South Australia by Gourmet Traveller Winelist of the Year Awards, and located within the picturesque Adelaide Hills, close to more than 60 wineries. This is a sommelier's dream! Be apart of the wine program set up by Wine Director, Liinaa Berry. You will be trained, developed and challenged throughout this exciting program and be able to take your wine knowledge to the next level.
The restaurant itself has been awarded 3 Hats in the Australian Good Food Guide and #1 in South Australia, Gault Millau's National Restaurant Awards also awarded us 3 Hats and #36 in the country for Awards this year. We have been #1 on Tripadvisor for Fine Dining in Greater Adelaide for the past three years and have been awarded Best Restaurant in a Hotel in Australia this year by both the AHA National Awards and the HM Awards. Our bar was also named 'Best Small Bar' in South Australia at the Restaurant and Catering Awards.

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES:
- Must have worked in fine dining restaurant environments for a minimum of 1 year.
- Passionate, friendly and personable.
- CMS or WSET certified.
- Passionate about food and wine. If you are well presented, suitably qualified and keen to take on a challenging role to advance your career and skills forward.
