For over 60 years our company has been one of the leading importers and distributors of finest quality regional Italian foods and wine in Australia.
An opportunity exists for an experienced account manager to join our Wholesale Division as a full-time account manager to promote & sell our range of finest Italian wines, spirits, beers & ancillary products to the Off Premise sector in Melbourne & Victorian country areas.
We are seeking someone who can build new business, while continuing to give excellent service to an established portfolio of off premise sector.
For this role, a knowledge and passion for Italian wine is a definite advantage, as is a background of at least 3 years as an account manager of wines & spirits industry. The role requires a highly motivated individual who is prepared to work independently and also as part of the team.
Other experience and skills we are looking for include:
- Ability to achieve company sales objectives and other indicators
- B2B sales experienced
- Develop positive trade relations within an existing customer base
- Identifying and creating new opportunities
- Support existing sales promotion campaigns
- Meet deadlines and have thorough attention to detail
- An energetic, positive and self-motivated personality
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Current driver's licence and good driving history
- Excellent personal presentation
- Ability to work Monday to Friday in a full-time capacity
- Availability to travel around Victorian country areas
- Achieving and surpassing budgeted KPIs
- Good computer literacy of basic PC progams : Word, Excel, Outlook, etc
You will work as part of a friendly, customer-focused team based at our Brunswick warehouse.
