Leconfield is a family owned South Australian winery with vineyards in two of Australia’s most highly regarded wine regions, a modern, well equipped winery, respected brands and established domestic and international markets.
There is an opportunity for an energetic and motivated person with experience in and knowledge of the wine industry to join our team to fill the newly created position of Sales manager.
Based in McLaren Vale and reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing existing accounts, providing exceptional customer services and driving growth to new and existing business.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Involvement in developing and achieving sales budgets
- New business development and account management
- Developing long term customer relationships
- Retaining and developing existing accounts
- Delivering excellent customer service
- Brand education and training to clients
- Implementing promotional activities and wine tastings
- Keeping up with market trends
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Demonstrated background in wine sales – essential
- 3+ years’ experience dealing with Independents, Majors and On Premise
- High level of wine knowledge
- A solution focused approach
- Passion for wine the industry
- Ability to work autonomously
- Ability to travel within Australia and Overseas
- Ability to deliver results according to company requirements
- High level of personal presentation skills
- High level of written and verbal communication skills
- Self motivated, driven and proactive
- Highly organised nature with strong time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Current drivers licence
