Production Manager - McLaren Vale

This role will lead and develop Bottling / Cellar / Laboratory / Maintenance operations in a safe, effective and efficient manner in order to meet Company safety requirements and customer expectations.
Managing and leading a team of 6 while reporting to Manager - New Business Operations, a summary of responsibilities will include however not be limited to:
- Drive a Safety 1st Culture
- Act in accordance with Vinpac / Woolworths policy and legislative requirements at all times.
- Ensure quality of product is met at all times. Ensure compliance with HACCP, Job specs, SOP’s and Work instructions
- Develop the Team Leaders and 2IC’s to gain a high standard of technical and managerial capabilities
- Conduct regular 1:1’s, Objective reviews and development of individual development plans for direct reports.
- Work with, and assist with the development of OEE improvement activities ensuring maximum team engagement
- Regularly communicate with teams
- Assist and develop the Team Leaders with roster planning, team gap analysis and development planning for all team members.
- Work with Team Leaders and Maintenance to ensure all equipment breakdowns, non-routine maintenance and safety faults are identified, addressed and rectified in accordance with safe operation procedures.
- Site management as required.

- Demonstrated success in a similar role
- Background in Manufacturing - food, bottling, beverage or related
- Experience leading and motivating a team
- Effective at cross-functional teamwork
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
