Yangarra Estate Vineyard is a boutique McLaren Vale winery, situated 35 minutes south of Adelaide. Our intimate tasting room is set on our beautiful single vineyard estate amongst the vines. Yangarra is a reputable wine brand, specialising in premium Rhone varietal wines.
An exciting and rare opportunity for Cellar Door & Hospitality Supervisor has evolved due to internal promotion. Ideally suited to an ambitious candidate with the opportunity to own their own space. The right cultural fit is critical, you will be part of a highly supportive team and work with amazing staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Managing the day-to-day operations of our boutique cellar door
- Hosting personalised cellar door tastings, winery tours and sales
- Direct to consumer wine sales, stock management and logistics
- Cellar door event implementation and execution
- Organise and participate in consumer events, functions and tastings
- Flexibility and ability to work 5 days, including some public holidays and weekend work
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
The candidate must have the following attributes:
- Warm and hospitable personality
- A passion for the wine industry, and a good understanding of wines
- A strong work ethic, self discipline, communication skills and understands accountability
- Hospitality experience highly desirable
- Excellent records management and general office administration
