About Us: At Ginny Pig Distillery, we're all about crafting exceptional spirits that tantalise the taste buds. From our famous Hot Cross Bun gin to our award-winning Botanical Gin, we're dedicated to innovation and quality. As a growing company, we're excited to announce that we will soon be starting the construction of our new distillery and tasting room in Mt Compass. We're looking for an exceptional individual to join our team and help us expand our brand awareness and sales distribution portfolio.
Position: Business Development Specialist / Brand Ambassador (Casual, 2-3 days per week, (2 days guaranteed) with potential for more hours in the future)
As a Business Development Specialist / Brand Ambassador, you will be responsible for driving business growth, expanding brand awareness, and building strong relationships with B2B and B2C
Location: Based in the beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula, with travel required across South Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Grow sales by actively calling on trade accounts, such as bars, bottle shops and restaurants to engage with buyers and secure brand position / sales.
- Be the face of Ginny Pig Distilleries brand - representing us at trade and in-store tastings, events, and activations. Present drink solutions that create positive brand experiences and commercial outcomes for venues.
- Plan, deliver, review, and evaluate a range of activities to increase brand awareness and knowledge among suppliers and consumers.
- Build strong working relationships with suppliers and consumers to optimise opportunities and increase product visibility.
- Ensure trade and retail partners are equipped and eager to promote our brands to consumers.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in business development, sales, or brand ambassador roles
- Previous experience in hospitality/bar work.
- A South Australian RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate.
- Access to a reliable car and a valid driver’s licence.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage your own schedule effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for premium spirits and a love for hospitality.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
