Our family-owned company of 30 years has crafted the wines of MadFish, Howard Park & Marchand & Burch.

 

Fixed Term contract 6 months – commencing January 2020

 

We seek qualified winemakers with a minimum of 3 vintages of experience in a winemaking role.

Responsibilites include: organising, and managing a shift.

Skills and attributes required:

-           well organised &  able to supervise others to ensure the efficient work  flow of the cellar

-           skilled in all aspects of vintage cellar work.

-           skilled in wine analysis and  interpretation of results

-           strong wine production management and problem solving skills.

-           close attention to detail

-           ability to work under pressure

-           enthusiasm &  an understanding of wine quality.

-           a passion for wine.

-           able to work extended hours of shift work.

 

The role reports to Chief &/or Senior Winemaker.
