Vintage at Cape Mentelle
Each year, Cape Mentelle builds a team of exceptionally skilled Vineyard Hands from various backgrounds to bring their dedication and knowledge to support us with the year’s harvest. We provide comprehensive training, a social & collaborative work structure and broad work tasks to allow you immerse yourself and build an intimate understanding of vineyard process. You will have direct access to our viticulturists and ability to build your professional networks with staff from around the world.
During the harvest period, you may be required work shifts up to 12 hours in length and up to 6 days per week.
Vintage Vineyard Hands will be responsible for operating tractors and other vineyard machinery, assisting in net application, canopy management, vine training and general vineyard maintenance as well as actively participate in all harvesting activities, by hand and machine.
For this role, prior viticultural or related horticultural experience is mandatory, completed or on-going qualifications in Viticulture is desirable.
