Job Description
We are a state of the art custom crush winemaking facility operating in Margaret River.
We exclusively work with Premium Western Australian fruit and brands, as well as our own wine brand, Domaine Naturaliste (www.domainenaturaliste.com.au).
We are currently seeking a Permanent Cellar Hand to join our team.
This is an ideal position for a passionate professional looking to enter or delve further into the wine industry and learn and grown under the guidance of a small, highly skilled team.
The role will be primarily and initially cellar based, but with scope to grow and encompass laboratory and managerial responsibilities in the long term.
The initial components of the role include but are not limited to:
General Forklift Operation
Barrel work – Stir/Top, Blending, Stacking
Juice and Wine Transfers and Rackings
Filter operations, Flotation, Venturi, Dispatch
Final Adds/Warming
Bottling line QC with Mobile Bottling Line
Fruit Processing and Press Operation
Supervised Red Pump-over and Ferment Management
