Ten Minutes by Tractor is a highly regarded winery on the Mornington Peninsula. Our award winning Cellar Door has been adapted and has recently opened Allis Wine Bar & Bistro.

Allis offers a casual alternative to our fine-dining restaurant providing guests a selection of wine options, seated tastings, and seasonal and sustainable bistro-style menu using produce from our Market Garden where possible. 

Allis reflects TMBT’s philosophy of making wine, our attention to detail and passion for doing the best we can to showcase local produce and the best that the Mornington Peninsula has to offer. 

The role

We are looking for an experienced supervisor to join our front of house team who will ensure we continue to offer an exceptional level of hospitality and service to our guests. 

As an extension to the Cellar Door, the beverage focus is our own extensive range of TMBT wines and the chance to enjoy back vintage wines by the glass. You will be using your wine knowledge to convey our story and contextualise other producers from the peninsula with our own. 

You will be focused in your approach to overseeing service operations, providing welcoming and engaging dining experiences that complement our renowned wines. You will create a warm environment for all our guests, and be dedicated to providing an educational approach to wine service, along with pairing these wines with the seasonal menu offered from the kitchen. You will also grow your knowledge and working experience of the Mornington Peninsula wine region through providing support and assistance in our Cellar Door.

The successful applicant will have supervisory experience, extensive wine knowledge, a passion for high quality food and service, and a good understanding of hospitality operations. The role requires a leader who doesn't shy away from autonymy, with a desire to direct a small team to deliver an engaging experience.

A senior managerial role can be discussed for the right candidate, with ongoing training and support for career progression.

  • Extensive wine knowledge highly regarded
