Longview is a stunning family-owned and operated vineyard, producing award winning premium single-vineyard wines. Located just outside of the historic township of Macclesfield, in the Adelaide Hills, just a 40-minute drive from the heart of Adelaide.

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic, customer focussed Cellar Door Supervisor too oversee the daily operations of our Cellar Door and restaurant every Saturday, Sunday, and some Fridays. This is a casual position initially with the possibility of a permanent part-time position for the right candidate.

 

The role is very diverse as our Cellar Door is the hub for all weekend operations at Longview, including wine tastings, restaurant service and accommodation check-in and enquiries.

 

Key responsibilities of the Cellar Door Supervisor:

•             Providing exceptional customer service to accommodation, lunch, and cellar door guests.

•             Continue to develop Longview Vineyard’s database and Vista Wine Club

•             Supervising day-to-day operations of the Cellar Door including the running of our small but busy restaurant, structured wine tastings, and accommodation check-ins

 

You will possess the following:

•             A strong hospitality background and previous managerial experience in a similar role, ensuring exceptional customer experiences with wine and food

•             Leadership skills with the ability to develop & maintain a strong working culture, communication amongst cellar door team but also be able to work independently

•             A sound knowledge of wine and a passion for the industry

•             A positive and enthusiastic attitude

 

WSET 2 or equivalent wine knowledge favourable but not essential.
