Mt Lofty Ranges Vineyard is a family-owned, five-star rated boutique winery situated 35 minutes from the centre of Adelaide at Lenswood in the picturesque Adelaide Hills. We proudly showcase local produce on the seasonal menu in our chef-hatted restaurant. 

Mt Lofty Ranges Vineyard is open 7 days per week, 11am - 5pm for lunch service and we are looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic, and customer service oriented Assistant Manager for our Restaurant and Functions. We are looking for someone with a genuine love for the job, with demonstrated experience in the industry or looking to take the next step in premium Hospitality. Ideally, you with be experienced with customer service, providing an exceptional customer experience and a strong general food and beverage knowledge.  

 

Duties will include, but not limited to: 

  • Providing an exceptional customer experience
  • Liaising with kitchen 
  • Maintaining the atmosphere and appearance of the venue
  • Bar work, service of alcohol
  • Keeping our high standards of presentation and customer service
  • Operating POS and Eftpos 
  • Weekend availability. Friday to Tuesday working roster
  • Managing the Front of House team
  • Respond to email and phone enquiries 
  • Support the Restaurant Manager in the successful set-up, delivery and pack down of daily service and functions, as well as general admin duties and staff management. 

You will have the following attributes:

  • Passion for providing exceptional customer service and experiences
  • Organised and motivated
  • Confident managing a team 
  • Attention to detail 
  • Previous experience in a similar environment is highly desirable.
  • Wine knowledge is an advantage

Salary will be negotiated based on skill and experience and also includes a generous quarterly wine allowance.
