JOB DESCRIPTION
The Hope family own and operate New South Wales premier wine destination. HOPE is a both an entertainment and drinks business boasting a complete range of Wine, Beer and Cider with a portfolio that includes Hope Estate, Hope Brewhouse, Tower Estate and Virgin Hills.
Our own vineyards span across three states and include the wine grape growing regions; Hunter Valley, Macedon Ranges and Geographe. The fruit from our own vineyards is used exclusively in our Estate wines.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced operator for our Victorian vineyards. In this hands-on role you will be responsible for all on site viticultural operations on our iconic Virgin Hills Vineyard and Glenhope Vineyard to ensure the production of high quality fruit.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
This is a hands-on management role and as such, you will need to be articulate, decisive, resilient, adaptable, proactive and well organised. You will;
- Have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Have a broad level of hands on operational agricultural experience from a range of viticultural climates.
- Be a team player, focused on delivering exceptional internal customer service and committed to quality, safety and environment.
- Meet the physical requirements in order to safely perform all viticultural operational tasks.
- Have a current driver's and forklift licence, chemical accreditation and a first Aid qualification would be advantageous.
