Glenview Vineyard based in White Hills is now recruiting for a passionate and energetic Vineyard Hand to join our small team through to the middle of March 2021.

Reporting to the Assistant Vineyard Manager, this role involves the completion of all vineyard operations, ensuring that the tasks are completed correctly and within the required time frames.

Key responsibilities

  • General tasks include irrigation, maintenance, repairs & manual canopy management.
  • Able to understand and uphold safety standards as per legislation and company policies.
  • The ability to follow instructions and follow through with a high level of attention to detail, efficiency and professionalism.
  • A high level of communication skills and the ability to work as part of a professional team is essential.

About you

  • Prior Vineyard or Horticulture experience is preferred but not essential
  • A passion for working outdoors.
  • Sound mechanical and machinery knowledge is desirable.
  • Pride in appearance, workmanship and punctuality is essential

Before commencement, satisfactory completion of drug and alcohol testing will be required.
