Situated in the heart of the highly acclaimed Pipers River region of northeast Tasmania, Dalrymple Vineyards was established by visionaries and is maintained by believers, who know that anything great doesn’t come easily, and anything worth having is worth waiting for.
An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Casual Vineyard Hand to join our team. Casual work is available now through to end of pruning season and there is potential for further employment after this initial period.
About the role
This is a hands-on role which will see the successful candidate working across a variety of tasks in our vineyard. These tasks include:
- Basic vine management, including vine pruning and tying down
- Irrigation and trellis, basic monitoring and repairs
Key requirements of the role
The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for viticulture and/or horticulture, the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a small team environment, the ability to perform repetitive tasks while demonstrating high attention to detail and contribute to a safe and tidy working environment.
This position could suit a person who is interested in becoming part of the viticulture industry in Tasmania and enjoys working outdoors.
