Nestled in the heart of Tasmanian wine country, Pipers Brook Vineyard is home to some of Australia’s most sought-after cool climate wines and is known as one of the pioneering vineyards of the Tasmanian wine industry. We’re passionate about sharing our Estate grown wines and our journey with every visitor to our Cellar Door and we are looking for casual cellar door sales staff to add to our enthusiastic team.
Reporting to the Cellar Door Manager, your responsibilities will be:
- Provide exceptional customer service
- The ability to consistently achieve outstanding sales results
- General day to day operational responsibilities including balancing tills, stock management and customer orders
- Always offer the highest quality experience for our customers.
- Ensure Cellar Door presentation standards are maintained
- Availability to occasionally work at events on and off site
- Continually develop knowledge of our history and our wines
Ideal candidates will have:
- A passion for good wine and food
- Industry knowledge of wine and/or tourism (WSET is an advantage)
- Strong sales acumen
- Exceptional customer service skills
- A current RSA is essential
- Positive attitude, well-mannered and well presented
- The ability to relate to customers from all walks of life
- Ability to work weekends and public holidays
