An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced professional to join our senior management team as we continue our growth as one of Australia’s largest suppliers to the domestic and international wine markets.
Based at our winery in the Riverland and reporting to the Winery Manager, this is a pivotal role within the company contributing to the continued success of our wine operations. This position is responsible for management of the Cellar, Maintenance and Laboratory departments ensuring that production meets quality and style standards and operational targets.
Key responsibilities include budgeting and forecasting, managing continuous improvement programs, promoting a safe, dynamic and flexible culture and ensuring the Operations division achieves defined performance outcomes.
The successful candidate will have a practical understanding of WHS, lean manufacturing and continuous improvement, combined with exceptional leadership skills and a high level of attention to detail. Previous management experience in a similar role and proficiency in Microsoft applications are essential. Experience in the wine industry and knowledge of a production environment will be highly regarded.
