Nitmiluk Tours has an exciting opportunity for you as our Food and Beverage Manager who is passionate for great customer service and the tourism and hospitality industry. This position is being offered on a permanent, full time basis, and will be based at the beautiful Nitmiluk Gorge (approximately 30km from Katherine town). The position is a key position within our organisation and will suit someone with great managerial and supervisory skills and who has a strong understanding across a broad range of hospitality functions.

Your Key responsibilities:

The Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for day functions and operation of the Sugar Bag Cafe, Dinner Cruise and Pool Bistro under the direction of the Operations Manager (Hospitality). This includes supervising staff, food operations and outlet upkeep and maintenance whilst on duty.

As the preferred candidate you will have:

• Experience in a similar role
• Excellent customer service and communication skills with a high attention to detail
• Ability to lead and train others in food and beverage service
• Possess in depth food and wine knowledge
• Demonstrated knowledge of workplace health and safety and food safety.
• Ability to prepare rosters

Please note that it is a requirement of this position that have a you obtain an Ochre Card, have a current Australian work rights, and hold current First Aid and RSA certification.
