Cellar Door Manager (Wine Jobs: Wine Retail & Sommelier)

Can you deliver outstanding customer service and ensure all of our guests expectations are met? Do you offer exceptional leadership and drive and want to work alongside Tasmania's only certified biodynamic wines, if so then this could be the job for you. This hands on customer focused role is perfect for someone who is passionate about wine and sharing it with others. This job would suit someone with previous experience in a similar position and it reports to the General Manager.

Your key duties and responsibilities are:

• Drive cellar door sales to maximise our potential.
• To deliver wine tastings to individuals, groups and trade customers.
• To oversee the sales and promotion of our wine club "Buon Gusto" and to collate member data.
• Stock control, including weekly stocktakes
• To assist management with the development and implementation of sales strategies.  
• To ensure your work area and bathrooms are clean and tidy at all times.
• To complete the accurate and timely fulfilment of customers orders.
• To ensure all administrative processes are followed.

Personal Attributes -

• Passionate about wine, especially Tasmania's growing industry.
• High level of planning and organisation.
• Proficient skills in the following preferred but not essential - excel, troly, obee.
• The ability to work as part of a team or autonomously.
• Extensive sales experience is preferred. 
• High level of customer service.
• The ability to problem solve.
• High standard of grooming and presentation.
