We're looking for seasoned hospitality and wine professionals to join our team!
Pooley Wines are seeking casual Cellar Door Sales Attendants to work weekday and some weekend shifts with our growing team of passionate wine professionals.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a busy venue, providing an exceptional level of service and experience. A passion for wine is a must with a strong background in cellar doors/hospitality.
Candidates should be able to conduct informative and engaging tastings in an approachable and professional manner, assist with direct to consumer sales, deal with correspondence and booking enquiries by phone and e-mail and maintain the highest standards of presentation and cleanliness in the cellar door.
Ideal candidates will have:
• Exceptional level of customer service and sales experience.
• Key knowledge of wine, ideally with a WSET 2 (or higher) certification.
• An ability to manage a room of multiple tastings in a timely manner.
• Understanding and implementation of RSA practices in the workplace.
• Availability to work weekdays with some weekend shifts. (Day shifts only)
• Ability to work across both our cellar door and outdoor dining area
• Ability to fit into a small and dedicated team of career-focused hospitality professionals.
• Capacity to adapt to a constantly evolving environment
• An ability to work in a multi-tasking team environment
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Neat presentation, upholding Pooley's core values and brand image.
• A current RSA certificate.
