19XO Wine & Cocktail is a brand new venue right at the heart of the Torquay foreshore in Hervey Bay, Queensland. We are on the lookout for both bar and floor service superstars looking for a variety of casual, part-time or full-time roles. Join a close knit team of creative minds, passionate about drinks and service. In-house training & mentoring for your development. Twelve months experience in a similar role is advantageous however we are happy to offer training for the right candidate. With such a tight knit team at 19XO Wine & Cocktail cultural fit is crucial. The successful candidate will be organised, punctual, enthusiastic and able to have a laugh. Employment is governed by the relevant Agreement / Modern Award as a base and pay will be commensurate with experience.

The must haves:

• A passion for superior patron service is essential
• Genuine interest in wine and cocktail culture
• Possess or ability to acquire quickly an RSA certification
• Excellent communication skills
• Work well in a small team environment
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Well presented and maintain a very high standard of personal hygiene
• Full working rights in Australia

Highly Desirable:

• Over 12 months professional experience serving wines, cocktails or ruling the floor
• Knowledge and understanding of wine pairings
• Experience with cured meat charcuterie and preparation
• Knowledge of the classic cocktails and global trends

Top of the pack:

• Knowledge of Australian, French, Italian & other international wine
• An intricate cocktail knowledge with professional experience
