We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Management Accountant to join our family business as we continue to grow and drive our future

 

This position requires a person with competent accounting skills and a flexible, hands on approach to provide both accounting and admin support where ever needed.

Reporting directly to the CFO your key responsibilities will include

·         Managing AP and AR

·         Inventory management: stock counts and valuations

·         Financial and production KPI reporting

·         Product costing

·         Recipe management - for ingredients and production

·         Bank & Credit Card Reconciliations

·         Managing Creditors and Debtors

·         Reconciling General Ledger Accounts

·         Assisting with quarterly regular Stocktakes

·         Assisting with Import and Export & Excise   documentation

·         Managing Staff Wine Allowances

·         Petty Cash Reconcilation

·         Assisting with Month End Reporting

·         Adhoc duties as required by the Finance and   management Team

Skills and experience

If you are up for a challenge this is a role for you. Ideally you will have:

·         Degree qualified in Finance or Business, ideally   working  toward CPA/CA (mentoring available)  

·         Exposure to working within a fast-pasted environment

·         Be a fast learner who is quick with accounting data    applications. Jcurve/Fedelta highly regarded.

·         Intermediate Excel skills & computer / tech savvy

·         Sound administration and organisational skills, close attention to detail and proven ability to independently manage workloads and deadlines.
