Hahndorf Hill Winery is a boutique producer specializing in Austrian-variety wines and is situated next to the German-heritage town of Hahndorf in the Adelaide Hills.
We are looking for a self-motivated, highly personable, committed and hard-working individual to join our team at our award-winning cellar door.
Your role will involve conducting wine tastings and selling wine at our tasting counter, as well as presenting our chocolate and wine matching experience, ChocoVino, to customers in our glass-enclosed balcony overlooking the vines.
You will also help prepare cheese plates and chocolate plates in our kitchen, help prepare wine for shipment, assist with maintaining the cleanliness of our facilities, and undertake other day-to-day duties associated with the running of a busy cellar door.
Ideally, you will have solid and sustained cellar door experience with an aptitude for sales and excellent customer service. Alternatively, you will have developed a sound knowledge of wine within a hospitality or tourism context. We will provide you with paid training in gourmet chocolate and in our Austrian speciality wines.

At present we are offering part-time work of two days a week (every Thursday and Friday from 10am - 5.30pm), but this could be increased if you preferred more shifts, and in the near future a permanent position could be offered. Award rates apply.
