KEY TASK AREAS
SOCIALS
- Be responsible for SOUMAH & Coterie social media ‘handles’ including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others as they may become important
- Continual increase in followers, follower goals to be regularly set
- Report monthly on social media activity and results
- Answer any communication from the social media channels
WEB SITES
- Using our CMS system and administer the SOUMAH & Coterie web sites regularly updating the sites
- We are planning to build a new web site this year on using Spotify and the Winehub membership platform.
- The Web sites to be engaging and present an active and up to date record of SOUMAH & Coterie information
- Make the buying process as easy and interactive as possible
- Change images regularly to keep the web site fresh and alive
- Coordinate larger web sites updates with our service providers
- Ensure the SOUMAH & Coterie web sites are responding quickly
- Monitor activity on SOUMAH & Coterie web sites and report monthly
CRM (CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT)
- Be responsible for administration and communication with SOUMAH membership & databases
- Focus of growing each in volume and quality
- Maintain database
- Grow the membership offering making it relevant and interesting
- Motivate and train staff on how to sell the membership and report on membership levels instantly and monthly
- Make membership a higher focus on the web site ensuring visitors understand the benefits and are enticed to sign-up – especially through sales process
- Regularly email communication to the databases
- Call potential members identified through their sales history and invite to join the membership
- Manage telemarketing activities
MEDIA RELATIONS
- Through various communication methods not limited to press releases, social channels and personal meetings keep wine journalists informed and updated on SOUMAH activities, awards, information, and new releases
- The goal is increasing editorial about SOUMAH in traditional press (newspaper and magazines), radio, TV as well as increasing entries on rating web sites including The Wine Front, The Real Review, Wine Companion etc.
- Attract journalists to visit SOUMAH to understand our total operation and get closer to the operation and management team
- 7-8 times per year manage the dispatch of new vintage wines to Journalists. Decide what wines to send with the Sales team, develop the press release and help coordinate the CD team to dispatch the wine
- Continue to develop associations with radio and media in general for sponsorship opportunities that will help promote the Soumah brand
EVENTS
- Help develop and communicate Events at SOUMAH on a regular basis
- These Events to include but not be limited to Masterclasses, Festivals and Lunches
- Help communicate SOUMAH wine dinners in the city in association with the Sales team members
GRAPHIC DESIGN
- Publish our three brochures annually
- Help CD team to develop POS collateral that is needed
- Produce Bottle images from labels produced by the printer
- Other graphic design jobs as needed
BRANDING
- Form part of the team the develops Brand SOUMAH from a visual, communications and physical sense at our hospitality and accommodation venues
DAILY WORK SCHEDULE
The role will be full time 40 hours per week and based at the Cellar Door Office in Gruyere, Yarra Valley.
The days of work are suggested as Tuesday to Saturday. We are looking for someone who lives is within a 30-minute drive of SOUMAH or is willing to relocate to suburb within this radius of SOUMAH.
