FABAL manages approximately 1,600 hectares of premium cool climate vineyards throughout Australia including Padthaway, Barossa Valley, Clare Valley, Langhorne Creek, McLaren Vale, Adelaide Hills, Heathcote and Margaret River regions. It is a growing business focused on producing premium wine grapes from some of Australia's best viticultural areas.

FABAL has an exciting opportunity for the right person to enter or continue to grow their existing career in the Australian viticulture landscape.

We have an opportunity for the right individual to join an experienced professional team in Langhorne Creek, South Australia. The role will be tailored to suit your experience level from career changer through to an experienced vineyard operator. 

To be right for this role you will have some key traits imperative to grow a successful career in the dynamic viticultural environment.

  1. You will have a track record of successfully learning a range of new tasks
  2. You will have outstanding work ethic and when required be prepared to operate with flexibility during peak periods
  3. You will be keen to try new things and adapt quickly
  4. You will enjoy being challenged by technical information and yet love operating hands on.
  5. You will have mechanical aptitude and a track record of turning your hand at a range of activities.
  6. You will enjoy operating independently but prefer to work within a team
  7. You will value a safe working environment and be a supportive teammate.
  8. You will enjoy communicating with others in a collaborative manner.

This position would ideally suit a person living in the surrounding area or who is willing to relocate. 

The right candidate will work closely with and be mentored by the vineyard manager, supervisor and broader senior viticultural team.
