Restaurant Supervisor (Wine Jobs: Wine Retail & Sommelier)

Located just 5 minutes North of Palm Cove on a pristine, unspoiled, 6km stretch of golden white sands; you will find the iconic Ellis Beach Bar & Grill. With picturesque rainforest backdrops and amazing views over the Coral Sea, it is the perfect place to sit back, relax & unwind.

We are searching for the right person to join our team and become our restaurant supervisor.

Duties

- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role

- Friendly & energetic with a love for hospitality

- Capable at cash handling, P.O.S, end of day & closing the venue

- Delegate in an effective manner whilst working hands on

- Ability to make beverages such as coffee's & cocktails

- Able to work to a budget

- Be team oriented

- Lead by example

Criteria

- MUST enjoy ocean views

- Must love dogs- we are a dog loving & friendly venue. if you're not down for woffy furry friends, we may not be the right fit for you.

- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred

- Demonstrated experience in a similar size venue

- Experience with functions & weddings is a bonus!

- Experienced barista & bar service highly desirable

- Staff management

- Customer complaints resolution

- Understanding of wage & food COGS

- Ability to lead as part of a team

Position

This is a part time position which can lead to full time work for the right fit.

Rate of pay will be determined on experience.

We pay above award rates :)
