DESCRIPTION

Located in the Coonawarra wine region, Zema Estate - one of Australia’s key winery families has a permanent full time position available for a self-motivated and energetic Assistant Vineyard Manager.

This is a hands on position working closely with the Vineyard Manager to implement and oversee a detailed work program.

In this role you will be responsible for the day to day operation, supervision and maintenance of our vineyards and equipment to consistently produce grapes of the highest quality.

The successful applicant must have previous viticultural/horticultural experience, possess a strong work ethic have pride in attention to detail, be willing to work both autonomously and in a team environment with the capacity to oversee staff and contract labour. A MR truck License and experience with grape harvesters would also be advantageous.
