During the mid-1980s, a team of Chandon’s wine whisperers struck gold at Green Point, an old dairy farm in Victoria’s Yarra Valley, 50 minutes from Melbourne. The cool climate and great soil combined to make a picture-perfect home for Domaine Chandon. Since 1986, this is where Australia’s leading Methode Traditionnelle producer has been confidently crafting sparkling and still wines that are stamped with the distinct style that is Chandon.

Chandon is part of the LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton group, a family of over 70 Houses including Dom Perignon, Christian Dior, Givenchy, Sephora, TAG Heuer, who create products that convey savoir-faire and preserved heritage while remaining firmly anchored in modernity.

We’re looking for a Bottling Line Operator to work part-time (3 days) in our diverse, inclusive team at Domaine Chandon for 12 months. In this position, you will be expected to:

  • Make a commitment to consistently demonstrate safe and high-quality work practices and habits in adherence to best practices standards
  • Operate processing and packaging machinery on rotation to achieve daily production & quality targets, including changeovers, set-up and start-up, & QA checks
  • Direct activities of Line Attendants and support the wider team
  • Assist in machinery maintenance, troubleshooting and recording of safety, quality, and efficiency information
  • Actively contribute to developing and maintaining a positive team environment
  • Identify and take part in continuous improvement projects

  • A positive, proactive and confident approach
  • Good communication skills & teamwork skills
  • A forklift license, and/or previous experience on a bottling line would be advantageous but not essential
