Cellar Attendant (Wine Jobs: Wine Retail & Sommelier)

We are looking for an enthusiastic full time Cellar Attendant with a can-do attitude to join our back of house team.

As the backbone of the venue, The Cellar team works efficiently to provide the bars with the support they need as well as maintaining equipment and cleanliness standards.

Ultimately, you love to get stuck into tasks with a hands-on approach and have a keen eye for detail. So if you are passionate about all things beverage and available to work days and evenings on a rotating roster, including weekend work, then we would love for you to be part of our growing team.

Working within this role, you would be responsible for:

• Preparation and set-up of all bars on a daily basis;
• Cleaning of beer lines;
• Ordering and inventory control;
• Managing stock rotation, recording food and beverage transfers and record keeping;
• Daily monitoring and recording of temperatures;
• Receiving all goods through the loading dock including food and beverage products, dry goods, paper goods and via couriers;
• Ensuring all goods are received in accordance with food safety guidelines, including temperature control; and
• Ensuring the highest level of WHS standards are adhered to within the team.

You will be able to demonstrate:

• Previous experience in a Cellar Attendant capacity;
• RSA competency card;
• Strong eye for detail and ability to work independently;
• Excellent organisational and customer service skills;
• Strong communication skills;
• A passion and knowledge of different types of beverages is certainly preferred
• Experience with stock management and reporting; and
• Proficient with Microsoft office suite.
