Do you have proven management experience in a liquor store environment? We are now on the hunt for an experienced ‘hands on’ liquor store manager who will bring creativity and innovation to a renewed development of the bottle shop as well as a wine program for the adjoining hotel.
Up to now, the bottle shop has operated like most however, it’s now on a path of change. The new vision includes a move towards a broader range of quality wine, beer and spirits to meet changing local consumer demand as well as the stage two introduction of a gourmet retail food offer within the space. Artisan food retail product knowledge and/or experience will be an advantage.
You will have demonstrated and proven experience in the following areas:
- Wine knowledge
- Hands on wine and beverage retail management operations
- Effective communication
- Team leadership and positive morale
- Customer service
- Financial aptitude
- Stock control
- Compliance matters
You will be familiar with the demands of a bottle shop and will bring your ‘can do’ attitude and friendly personable disposition. Key will be your ability to develop and support a small team of five.
