Eden Road is a leading medium size, high quality wine producer located in Murrumbateman, in the Canberra District.
Eden Road seeks to appoint a self-motivated, well organised person with a mature approach to fill the position of Cellar Door/Marketing Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for a career driven individual to manage an award-winning Cellar Door in the premium Canberra wine region.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong competency in all areas including but not limited to:
- Sales and Customer Service
- Day to day operations of the Cellar Door
- Hosting wine tastings at the Cellar door and at promotional events.
- Providing outstanding customer service, education and wine experience.
- Organising and managing promotional activities incorporating our website and Wine Club.
- Updating our Social Media including Facebook and Instagram.
- Representing Eden Road in industry associations
- Management, training and rostering of our casual staff.
- Presentation and cleanliness of the Cellar Door.
The desired applicant will have the following skills, knowledge and abilities:
- Be self-motivated, creative and an effective team player
- Have an interest in wine
- Have experience working in wine industry, hospitality or marketing
- Vibrant personality, attention to detail, outstanding communication skills and smart presentation are all essential
- Be social media savvy including Facebook, Instagram and updating website
- Good practical abilities and sense of working efficiently to get things done
- Physically capable of lifting and carrying a 6 pack of wine (8kg)
- Good computer skills (Word and excel)
- Applicants must have a valid RSA (or willing to obtain), driving licence and an Australian citizenship/residency.
The position is fulltime, based on a five day week, including weekends. Consideration will be given to job-share this position if part-time is more suitable.
A remuneration package commensurate with the successful applicant qualifications and experience, will be offered.
