We are after an experienced Bartender for Front of House, based in Byron Bay to join our amazing Moonlight Team. Now Open!

Your Strengths - 

  • Good communication skills
  • Experience is casual fine dining or fine dining. 
  • Experience in a fast paced and high volume venue
  • Outstanding Customer service & relations
  • Wine, Sake & Japanese cuisine knowledge - looked upon favourably, but not essential

This position will be predominately be floor focused, however bar operations will be an important factor within the role.

Located in Bay Lane, Moonlight is a contemporary Japanese hibachi grill and wine bar from the team behind Light Years.

Whether you prefer a seat at the bar, dining room, or alfresco, we invite you to enjoy the intimate surrounds with a concentrated menu showcasing flavours from classical Japanese cuisine reinterpreted into unexpected and punchy dishes.

Not one to take licks lightly, our drinks menu is made up of biodynamic wines chosen according to the luna cycle, sake - both hot and cold, a selection of Japanese whiskies, and an elevated cocktail list which pays homage to the longstanding craft of Japanese cocktail making.

We are open for dinner Wednesday to Sunday. All bookings can be made online.
