We are looking for a skilled & Experienced Vineyard Supervisor/Grape Grower. Their role will be to run all the day to day operations on all of the 120Hectares of the estates vineyards across Margaret River. In this role you will be responsible for training, managing and supervising large groups of casual workers through pruning, harvest and canopy management. Be responsible for implementing soil remediation and fertilizer programs. Monitoring irrigation systems. Disease and pest monitoring & management. Maintaining accurate records of all farming activities and ensuring these activities stay within budget guidelines. Repairs and maintenance to infrastructure and machinery, carry out machinery operations & ensure maximum productivity and compliance with all workplace Occupational Health & Safety regulations and policies.

The successful applicant will report directly to the company Viticulturist.

Job Requirements

In order to succeed in this position, you will have:

• A qualification in Viticulture or a minimum of 5 years’ experience or a degree in Viticulture.
• Must be fluent in English and Mandarin to allow for clear communications with transient workforce.
• To be able to work well in a team environment.
• Experience with Viticulture machinery.
• Experience in supervising, training & management of staff.
• Must have an Australian Driver’s License and their own transport, HR License would be beneficial.
• Computer Literate.
• Senior First Aid Certificate
• Accreditation in safe chemical handling
• Forklift license

The salary being offered for this position is $54,000 to $57,000 plus superannuation
