We seek an experienced financial controller to oversee all aspects of our business which includes:
- Two vineyard operations with 4 full time staff and contract vineyard workers.
- Winery that processes 500 ton of our brands fruit and other clients. Two full time wine makers plus vintage cellar hands.
- Cellar Door facility that trades 7 days a week.
- Distribution throughout Australia and in many overseas countries.
- Responsibilities to the Director and General Manager will require the candidate to have a strong accounting skills and be able to demonstrate independent problem solving and decision making skills.
Selection Criteria:
- Full management accounts experience
- Payroll experience
- Highly developed analytical work around winery and vineyard costing statistics and sales margins etc
- Experience in Vintrace and Xero software desired
- Demonstrated experience in budget and cashflow management
- Essential understanding of journals and manual accounting processes
