Our family-owned winery has been making premium West Australian wines in Margaret River for more than 30 years, under labels such as MadFish, Howard Park and Marchand & Burch.
As Cellar Manager, you will lead our amazing Cellar team in our winery production, as we continue to make world-class wines with an uncompromising commitment to quality.
You will head cellar operations and maintenance in the Margaret River winemaking facility in a wine-loving culture. We’re looking for someone who will not only run our operations, but who will also provide supportive leadership to our team, curating an environment that values high standards of work, dedication and enjoyment.
Responsibilities will include:
• Leading a high-performance team
• Manage staff rosters in line with site and corporate requirements
• Assist with cellar staff recruitment & training
• Continually review, develop and improve Standard Operating Procedures
• Maintain stock for efficient winery operations
• Manage maintenance calendar
• Light machinery maintenance as required
• Working within safety and environmental compliance obligations
You must have:
• Experience in winery & winery equipment
• Understanding of winery operations
• Strong organisation and planning skills – with ability to prioritise effectively
• Understanding of safety, quality and environmental systems
We’re also looking for:
• Any form of mechanics or maintenance
• Previous management experience
• A love for wine!
