McHenry Hohnen Vintners is seeking Casual Cellar Door Sales Assistants to join our small team in Margaret River. This role is suited to an individual who has a genuine interest in wine has a demonstrable experience in sales and has a “can do” attitude
The Role
- Create an exceptional customer service experience and promote the sale of McHenry Hohnen wines
- Conduct wine tastings whilst demonstrating extensive knowledge of our wines, philosophy and the local region
- Accurately process customer transactions
- Assist in achieving monthly sales targets for the cellar door
- Promote the Wine Club and actively contribute to increasing member numbers
- Ensure hygiene and cleaning standards are maintained to the highest level in all areas
- Assist with stock control and stock replenishment
- Complete light administration work as required
- Provide general support to management and colleagues, and participate in the continuous improvement of processes within the cellar door
The successful candidate will have:
- Demonstrable experience in sales and customer service
- WA Approved Manager Licence
- A good understanding and passion for wine
- Strong communication skills and a high standard of presentation
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment including weekends and public holidays
- Right to work in Australia
