Deep Woods Estate, falling under the Fogarty Wine Group, has been transformed into one of the most awarded and highly regarded boutique wineries and is at the frontline of producers leading a new wave in Margaret River.
An exciting opportunity has now arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced Cellar Door Manager to join our team and be based at our Yallingup winery.
The Cellar Door Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Cellar Door and achieving established key performance measures relating to sales, customer service/satisfaction and staff morale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cellar Door sales and customer service
- Operation and promotion of the Deep Woods Estate Rewards Club
- Supervision, staff rostering and team building
- Hygiene, sanitation and safety
- Stock control
- Management and control
Successful applicants must have:
- High level of customer service
- Good wine knowledge
- Prior experience with strong track record of success preferred
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise, multitask and meet changing deadlines and work well under pressure
- Competent MS Office skills
- Strong knowledge of EFTPOS, POS software systems and online payment gateway systems
- Current RSA
The position is permanent full time, working days may include Saturday and Sunday, although we are open to negotiate a permanent part-time position if more flexibility is required. In addition to salary, the package includes a wine allowance.
