Harvey River Estate is a family owned winery located on the outskirts of the town of Harvey.
The business was established in 1999 and the cellar door opened in 2001. Over the years the cellar door has continued to grow and our offer to consumers has further developed.
The cellar door, at Harvey River Estate, now offers wine by the glass and flights by way of charcuterie boards.
About the role
This position is casual, the successful applicant will be required to work on various days as per store roster, including some weekends. Responsibility will include the day to day operation of the cellar door, delivering excellent customer service and continuing to build on the existing business.
In addition GeoVino wine store, located in the town of Harvey, is also a part of the Harvey River Estate cellar door business and is included in this position. Employees enjoy a friendly work environment and are part of a small but dedicated team.
Sound wine knowledge, good phone manner and customer service is essential together with the willingness and confidence to make cold calls. RSA is required.
Skills and experience
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Sound retail and customer service experience.
- Approved Manager Certification (or willing to get if successful )
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (Required)
- Experience in wine industry is an advantage.
- Honest and reliable work ethic and enthusiasm to help grow the business.
- Availability to work weekends.
- Professional personal presentation with a can-do attitude.
