About the business
Wills Domain Winery Margaret River is widely regarded as one of Western Australia's leading Winery Restaurant's offering a range of premium wines to wholesale, retail and export complimented by the fine dining restaurant and cellar door located at the acclaimed cellar door in Margaret River.
To support continued growth, they are now seeking to appoint an Accountant Permanent Part Time with a proven track record of success to support their dynamic management team across a range of activities.
About the role
Reporting to the Managing Director and Operations Manager you will have responsibility for processing finance related matters, including Accounts Payable and Receivable, General Ledger and Account Reconciliation. In close collaboration with the MD and OM, you will also assist with the preparation of the monthly reports and provide commentary on achievement of financial performance of the organisation and its key staff.
This is a key financial role, with your primary responsibilities to include;
- Payroll and EOY financial statements
- Cashflow Management
- BAS and ALL relevant tax statements
- Accurate monthly financial reports including departmental variance analysis.
- Bank Reconciliations
- Accurate coding of accounts payable invoices
- Annual Budgeting
- Accounts Payable/ Receivable
- Oversee debtor and creditor data input
- KPI development and measurement
- Stock management
- Monitor Input of all digital sales transactions
- Monitor / Prepare Invoicing and,
- AdHoc finance matters
ALL while being responsible in maintaining accurate files and databases to audit standard, maintaining an awareness and abidance of all relevant legislation.

Skills and experience
The ideal candidate
You must have a minimum five years experience as an Accountant in a similar role, coupled with a high degree of computer literacy. Experience in accounting systems MYOB Account Right as well as Microsoft Office, particularly Excel is essential. Hospitality sector experience is desirable. You'll need to be a true team player, focused on building collaborative relationships across the business that contributes to a high-performance culture.
